Jharkhand rode on a century by Rasmi and impressive allround performance by Durga Kumari Murmu to beat host Odisha by 162 runs in a league match of the East Zone U-19 Women Cricket Tournament here at Ravenshaw University Ground today.
Electing to bat, Jharkhand compiled a healthy total of 214 for five and then bowled out the home team for 52. This was the second straight defeat for Odisha, who had lost their opening match to Tripura by 20 runs. Odisha will play their next match against Assam on November 18.
